Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi bags third Telugu film

The music director has already composed music for two Tollywood films which are yet to release.

Bollywood music composer Amit Trivedi’s debut film in Tollywood is yet to hit the marquee but the composer has already bagged his next Telugu project. The musician has composed music for That is Mahalakshmi and Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, both of which are scheduled for release this year.

The latest buzz is that Amit Trivedi has been roped in by director Indraganti Mohan Krishna for his upcoming multi starrer which has Nani and Sudheer Babu as heroes with Aditi Rao Hydari, and Nivetha Thomas as their lead pairs. The discussion with the musician happened in Mumbai a few days ago and he will begin composing soon. The prep work for this project is happening full swing with the shooting scheduled to begin in July this year.  The film, which has not been titled yet, will be bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.

Meanwhile, Sye Raa is nearing completion and has gone into the post production mode. While there are reports that the film will be a Dusshera release this year, sources in the know say that the release date could be postponed if the post production work is not completed.

Sye Raa is being bankrolled by Ram Charan Teja under his home banner Konidela Production Company on a budget of Rs 200 crores. It has a bevy of stars from different film industries including Amitabh Bachchan, Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, Jagapathi Babu, Kiccha Sudeep, Pragya Jaiswal and Brahmaji. R. Rathnavelu is the cameraman for this film, with A Sreekar Prasad editing it. It is a trilingual which will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.

That is Mahalakshmi is also in the post production mode with the team planning its release date. It is likely that the film will be out at the theatres this summer. The movie is a remake of the hit Bollywood film Queen, and has Tammannah reprising the role done by Kangna Ranaut in the original.
