Denying allegation that BJP is involved in the internal affairs of the AIADMK party, Union highways and shipping minister, Pon Radhakrishnan said that the BJP is not responsible for the changes unfolding within the party.

Following TTV Dhinakaran’s retreat from the party, speculations have been rife about the involvement of BJP in the possible coming together of the two AIADMK factions.

Stating that the allegations are unjustified and that the BJP is not ready to get involved in the internal issues of any party Radhakrishnan said, “Saints for any reason will not do anything favourable or unfavourable for anyone. What saints do is for betterment of world not for any specific section of people. Those who know about saints know this,” reported The Times Of India.

On Wednesday night, the Delhi Police issued summons to TTV Dhinakaran in the probe relating to a case of alleged bribery of EC officials to get the two-leaves symbol allotted to his faction.

The Delhi police had earlier filed an FIR according to which, conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar was constantly in touch with TTV Dhinakaran. Sukesh had promised to use his influence in the Election Commission of India to get the two-leaves party symbol matter resolved in favour of the Sasikala faction.

Following the cancellation of R K Nagar bye-election by the EC, Radhakrishnan had alleged that the IT raids in health minister C Vijayabaskar's residence indicates that it was all a planned drama of the BJP.

On Wednesday morning, Dhinakaran had said that he will stay away from the party affairs and will not prove his strength.
