On Sunday, the BJP released its fifth list of 19 candidates for the upcoming Telangana polls which are to be held on December 7.

The candidates who’ve been announced are Aruna Thara for Jukkal, Naidu Prakash for Banswada, R Rajeshwar for Balkonda, Sanath Kumar Rendla for Manthani, Shobha Bodiga for Choppadandi, Andela Sriramulu Yadav for Maheshwaram, Raipally Sai Krishna for Vikarabad, Madhusudhan Yadav for Jadcherla, Sudhakar Rao for Kollapur, Jaruplavath Gopi for Devarakonda, Karanati Prabhakar for Miryalaguda, Bobba Bhagya Reddy for Huzurnagar, Jallepalli Venkateshwara Rao for Kodad, Kadiyam Ramachandraiah for Thungathurthy, KVLN Reddy for Jangaon, Laxman Naik for Dornakal, Kusuma Satish for Warangal East, Banoth Devilal for Mulug, and Prabhakar Reddy for Kothagudem.

Earlier TRS party president K Chandrasekhar Rao had announced that newcomer Shanampudi Saidi Reddy would be contesting from Huzurnagar which currently held by TPCC’s Uttam Kumar Reddy.

Another important constituency to consider is Telangana’s urban Warangal East from which Nannapanneni Narendar will be contesting for TRS. The constituency witnessed some turmoil last month with Surekha Konda recently crossing over to Congress from the TRS. She is now contesting from Parkal.

The BJP had earlier this month released its fourth list of seven candidates for the upcoming Telangana state elections.

It had released its first list of 38 nominees for the 119 assembly constituency on October 20. With the release of the second list, the total number of candidates were at 66, rising to 86 with the release of the third list and with the 7 candidates announced on the fourth list was at 93. The number is now at 112 candidates with the latest list being released.
