Two boys studying in Class 6 and Class 9 of two Bengaluru schools went missing in Rajagopal Nagar police station limits on Monday evening.

Srikanth, 12-years-old, a student of Siri School in the Laggere area, was playing with his friend Kumar near his house, when the two went missing. However, no missing persons’ complaint has been filed so far.

Padma, Srikanth’s mother, says that she approached the police station twice since Monday, but was allegedly asked to come later by the officials, who claimed they were busy.

"My son went missing at around 4pm on Monday. He was playing with the neighbour's kid Kumar, who is studying in Class 9 in Bala Tilak School. I was at work. We (Padma and her husband) were told the two were missing when we returned," she said.

"We went to the Rajagopal Nagar police station to lodge a complaint on Monday evening, the officials told us that they were busy and asked us to come in the morning. When we went in the morning, they again told us they were busy," she told The News Minute.

Bengaluru police commissioner Megharik told The News Minute that he will look in to the matter.

No complaint was filed at the time of filing this story.
