In view of Eid celebrations, vehicular movement will be diverted in certain areas of Bengaluru on Monday.

According to the Bengaluru Traffic Police, these restrictions will be in place to ensure smooth movement of traffic and also ensure that Eid celebrations go on undisturbed. The restrictions, however, will be till 12 pm only.

Movement of vehicles near Umar Bin Khattab Masjid, Nagavara main road will be restricted. Commuters moving from Narendra Tent Road towards Periyar Nagar must take the route through Hennur Junction towards Lingarajapuram Oil Mill Road.

The vehicles plying from Govindapura must turn left at Narendra Tent road and take the route towards the BDA Complex and pass through Siddappa Reddy Circle and Lingarajapuram.
Traffic movement from Netaji Road to Tannery Road will also be diverted at Pottery Circle if vehicles are headed towards MM Road to reach Hennur Junction.
Vehicles from Haines Road moving towards Hajj Camp must change routes on Sultanji Gunta Road.  Commuters coming from Jayamahal towards Hajj Camp will be diverted to Cantonment underbridge. 

All vehicles moving towards the Cantonment Railway Station must change their route. The vehicles from Nandidurga Road going towards Hajj Camp should change route through Benson Town towards Tannery Road.

The vehicles from Mysuru Road side should turn left at Kimco Junction and move towards West of Chord Road. These vehicles should then turn right at MC Circle and enter the city through Magadi Road. 

Vehicles from Bapujinagar and Hosa Guddadahalli, moving towards Mysuru Road and entering the centre of the city should make a U-turn near Gali Anjaneya Swamy temple. These vehicles should enter Vijaynagar and West of Chord Road and then reach the city.
