Bellamkonda Srinivas’ upcoming film went on floors a few days ago with the official puja in the presence of several leading film personalities from the Telugu film industry.

The film will be directed by debutant Srinivas, and will be bankrolled by Naveen Sontineni, under the banner of Vasundhara Creations.

Among those present at the launch were the Telangana FDC Chairman Rammohan Rao and the Gurajala constituency MLA, Yarapathineni Srinivasa Rao. Ace director VV Vinayak clapped the first shot on the day of the muhurat.

The film, which does not yet have a title, is said to be a romantic thriller with two heroines in the lead. According to reports, the heroines have not been finalized and the team is working on signing up two leading ladies soon.

With the official pooja done, the shooting should commence on March 2, 2018, say sources close to the team. The technical crew of the film includes Chota K Naidu for cinematography. He is teaming up with Bellamkonda for the second time after Alludu Seenu.

Deccan Chronicle reported Bellamkonda saying, “I liked the story that Sreenivas narrated to me and found it unique, so I decided to do it. I am sure that this film will not only do good to my career, but it will also be a path-breaking film in Telugu.”

Boasting of an interesting script, Bellamkonda is sure that he will score a grand success at the box office.

The hero, son of popular producer Bellamkonda Suresh, made his acting debut with Alludu Seenu, which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South. He then went on act in
Speedunnodu, Jaya Janaki Nayaka and Saakshyam.

His last release Saakshyam was directed by Sriwass and starred Pooja Hegde as the heroine. R. Sarathkumar and Meena played pivotal roles in this flick.
