Tollywood star and politician Nandamuri Balakrishna will soon be making his Bollywood debut and it will be with the mega project – the biopic on the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and thespian NT Rama Rao.

Earlier, there were reports that the biopic would a bilingual made in Telugu and Tamil but now it is learned through sources that it will not be made in Tamil but in Hindi marking Balakrishna’s debut in Bollywood.

Touted to be the actor’s dream project, he is making every effort to get it right.

In fact, the actor is doing an extensive research on the life of his late father by gathering as much info as he could. The biopic will include several interesting anecdotes about NTR which is unknown to his fans.

Sources say that information about the legend is being gathered from senior politicians and film personalities to make the biopic as interesting as it could get. The film, which has not been titled yet, will be produced jointly by N Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati, and CCL chairman Vishnu Induri.

Balakrishna made his acting debut in Tollywood with Tatamma Kala in 1974 and the film was directed by his father NT Rama Rao. Some of the other films that were directed by his father in which he had starred are Daana Veera Soora Karna, Akbar Salim Anarkali, Sri Tirupati Venkateswara Kalyanam etc.

Having had two film releases, Gautamiputra Satakarni and Paisa Vasool this year, Balakrishna is currently busy with the untitled KS Ravi Kumar directorial which is being bankrolled by CK Entertainments. This film may be out as a Sankranti release.

It may be mentioned here that director Ram Gopal Varma had announced some weeks ago that he would be making a NTR biopic from his second wife Lakshmi Parvathy’s point of view.
