Baisakhi, celebrated as the Sikh New Year, is also celebrated as the spring harvest festival.
Being a very important festival among the Sikhs and Hindus, the Baahubali team arranged for a special promotional event at the Chandigarh University in Chandigarh.
Prabhas and Rana Daggubati, the lead stars in Baahubali – the Conclusion participated in various events including the arm wrestling contest between the two which was the highlight of the promo.
In a statement released to the press Rana had said: “Celebrating the festival of Baisakhi in Chandigarh has been a joyous experience for us. It was interesting to interact with young minds at the university and soak in the vibe of the festival in the city.”

Interestingly, this is Baahubali team’s first visit to Chandigarh to promote Baahubali – the Conclusion.
Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film has Prabhas playing the titular role with Rana Daggubati, Anushka, Tammannah, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Ramya Krishnan and others in the star cast.
The film has music scored by MM Keeravani and is due for a worldwide release on April 28.
The film will be released in Tamil and Telugu along with its dubbed versions in Hindi and Malayalam.
Expectations are high on this film as it is the first Indian film to release in the 4K High Definition format.
With the release date just a few days away, the Baahubali team is involved in vigorous promos.
