The movie ‘Baahubali The Beginning’ after a grand theatrical run in India, US and several foreign countries, is all set to hit the screens across Germany on April 28th 2016. The film has been dubbed into German Deutsch language.
Historical drama billed as India’s most expensive film. It was released last year and broke a number of local box office records since its release in July. The first installment of the Baahubali series was released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and minting more than 600 crores worldwide in all the languages together.
Splendid Film has acquired Indian mega-block buster for Germany and will be distributed by leading German distributor Film Select.
Production house had set up a separate sales arm Arka International of Indian production outfit of Arka Mediaworks to handle the international market.
The first part has been sold to 70 territories, including China, Japan, South Asia and Latin America.
Arka Mediaworks International will continue sales at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin and will also look to ink pre-sales of next installment Baahubali: The Conclusion.
It is also said that Baahubali will be releasing in China over 6000 odd screens, which is the highest for any Indian Film.
