Baahubali: The Conclusion is inching towards its release date of April 28, and the advance ticket bookings opened at the theatres on April 26.

Suggesting that film is due to get a massive opening, pictures of fans standing in long queues right outside the Prasad’s multiplex in Hyderabad from 6am went viral on social media.

Made on a budget of about Rs. 250 crore, Baahubali: The Conclusion has the answer to ‘why Kattappa killed Baahubali’.

The prequel was a big hit and the sequel is expected to surpass it in terms of the box office collections.

With the magnum opus due to be released in about 9,000 screens worldwide, of which 6,500 screens are in India, sources say that it will turn out to be a mega grosser.

While speculations about its box office collections are high, trade pundits put the figure to Rs. 1000 crore.

If this happens, Baahubali: The Conclusion might be the first Indian film to reach the Rs. 1,000 crore club.

The buzz around this movie is so high that the Andhra government had sanctioned six shows for the first ten days of its release. In the US, Baahubali 2 will be released in 40 IMAX screens, we hear.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the film stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Nasser, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Ramya Krishnan and others. MM Keeravani has composed music for this flick. Rajamouli’s father, KV Vijayendra Prasad had penned the story for Baahubali.

Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni have produced the movie under the banner Arka Media Works.

Loaded with computer graphics, the VFX work for the film was undertaken by leading technicians in various countries across the globe.
