Raghavendra, a former Member of Parliament had declared assets worth Rs 6 crores in the Lok Sabha polls during 2009. A Times of India report says his assets have grown five fold and it stands at Rs 30 crore now. The report says the ex-MP has Rs 17.78 crore movable assets and Rs 9.58 crore worth permanent assets. His wife has properties worth Rs 2 crores. Raghavendra, along with other members of his family was implicated in many cases. While some have been quashed, others are still on various levels of investigation and trial.
