Director Atlee is currently busy with Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil. It is being said Atlee might team up with Tollywood star Jr NTR or Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan next.

Sources told DTNxt, “It is true that Atlee has bagged call sheets of Jr NTR and SRK. But we do not know which project will take off first. Atlee and Jr NTR have in fact signed the dotted line that they will be doing a film together. Talks for SRK film is in its early stage. We will only know after the release of Bigil.”

Earlier it was reported that Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will be featuring in an extended cameo in the film. Recently there were rumors going around that Shah Rukh Khan will shake leg along with Vijay for a song. Refuting the rumors, sources from the film's camp told TNM that there are no such plans of roping in Shah Rukh Khan and these are baseless rumors.

Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, that released in December last year starring Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif bombed miserably at the box office, after which he has not signed any project. On the other hand, Jr NTR is currently busy with the Telugu multi starrer RRR. The shooting of this film commenced a couple of months ago and is under progress. It will go on for the next few months and the film is scheduled for release early next year.

Bigil, touted to be a sports drama, is being produced by AGS Entertainment and will be hitting the screens this Deepavali. Reports are that the pre-release business of the film will touch a benchmark price of Rs 220 crores.

The film which also stars Nayanthara, Jackie Shroff, Kathir, Yogi Babu and Vivek in crucial roles has music by AR Rahman. It is worth mentioning that AGS Entertainment had said in a statement that the film will be a pucca mass entertainer and will deal with a genre that will be first-of-its-kind for Vijay.
