The ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) is the latest phone launched by Asus in India and should be available for purchase quite soon (exact date yet to be announced). This India-specific product will be made available to customers online, exclusively through Amazon.
The ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) has a 5.5-inch HD display offering a screen resolution of 720x1280pixels. It’s an IPS LCD display with a Bluelight filtering feature.
The processor fitted on this latest offering from Asus is the Snapdragon 410 chipset and it’s a quad core processor, though the clocking speed is not indicated. The RAM is 2GB and the phone’s internal memory is 16GB, but can be expanded through a micro SD card to 128GB. The dimensions of the ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) read 153.4x76.44x10.95mm and the phone’s weight is 168 grams.
The Android Marshmallow 6.0 version OS runs the Asus ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL). As can be expected, the Zen UI 3.0 skin will ride over the Android OS.
The camera section has been adequately equipped for a mid-segment phone on the Asus ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL). The rear sensor is a 13MP camera with a dual LED flash and the aperture is f/20 in size. The front camera has a similar aperture with a 5MP camera. The phone also has been loaded with the specialist app, PixelMaster 3.0 that enables the user to set the camera at different modes HD mode, manual mode, Low light mode and so on to get better pictures. There are also several other features within this app to edit the pictures. One can only hope that it lives up to the camera standards of the Zenfone 3.
The battery fitted on the Asus ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) is of 3000mAh size and on the connectivity front too, the phone sports all the relevant connectivity provisions, including the 4G LTE and there are also all the sensors that the phones in this segment come with.
There is also an expectation that the Asus ZenFone Go 5.5 (ZB552KL) will come with a noise cancellation provision to improve the audio quality.
As mentioned above, the price is Rs 8, 499 and can be ordered on Amazon, once released.
