Agni Siragugal a multi-starrer has Arun Vijay and Vijay Antony in the lead roles with Shalini Pandey and Akshara Haasan as the female leads.Recently it was confirmed Bollywood actor Raima Sen will be making her Tamil debut with this film.

Directed by Naveen of Moodar Koodam fame, the first schedule was shot in Kolkata and the second schedule happened in Moscow and St Petersburg followed by Almaty in Kazakhstan where some breathtaking action sequences were shot. This is the first Indian film to be shot in Kazakhstan, according to reports. The film is in its last leg of shooting and post-production is expected to begin soon.

Touted to be an action entertainer, it will have emotional content as well. It is rumored that while Vijay Antony will be seen playing a cop in the film, Arun will be seen playing a character with negative shades. Recently, the makers released the character posters in which Vijay Antony plays the role of Seenu, Akshara Haasan will play the role of Viji and Raima Sen will portray a bold and strong character named Smitha.

The others in the star cast include Jagapathi Babu, Nasser, J Satish Kumar and Prakash Raj in important roles. The film's music has been composed by Natarajan Sankaran and KA Batcha is wielding the camera. The film is being bankrolled by T Siva under his banner Amma Creations.

It may be noted here that director Naveen made his debut with 2013 release Moodar Koodam and is working on his next film Alaudhinin Arputha Camera. The film is believed to be a fantasy adventure thriller and is being shot in Switzerland, Italy, and Croatia’s Dalmatian coast, Germany, Ukraine and Slovenia.
