The Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman and veteran music composer MM Keeravani have teamed up to create a melody. Though it is not clear as to which movie this song would be a part of, MM Keeravani is reported to have said that it will be one of the best melodies till date from the Mozart of Madras. The song has reportedly been recorded and according to the buzz, it could either be a part of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy or Rahman’s home production 99 songs. We need to wait for an official confirmation on which album this song would be a part of.

AR Rahman made his debut in the early 1990s with the Mani Ratnam directorial Roja which went on to win him the National Award. Since then, he has had a phenomenal rise winning several awards, honours, and accolades. The music director also went on to win the most prestigious award, The Oscar, for his music in Slumdog Millionaire. He had composed the tunes for the Vijay starrer Mersal which released recently and fans wait eagerly for the soundtrack in the magnum opus 2.0 which is directed by S Shankar and stars Rajinikanth in the lead role.

On the other hand, Keeravani made his debut as music director with Manasu Mamatha in 1990 and has worked in several films like Kshana Kshanam, Gharana Mogudu, Allari Mogudu, Major Chandrakanth. However, MM Keeravani came into the limelight with his music score in Baahubali. Keeravani’s background score in Baahubali: The beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion is one of the biggest strengths for the magnum opus.
