There are increasing number of complaints that Apple is receiving through different channels, including the social media after installing the latest update 10.3.2, for all Apple devices running on the iOS.

The complaint is more or less uniform and it appears these customers are noticing that their device drops battery charge by a huge quantum of 10 to 20% very quickly, immediately upon the update being installed on their device. It must be added here that an analysis indicates that a majority of these are iPhone owners rather than any other Apple device.

One such complainant, an owner of iPhone 6 Plus has said her phone’s battery charge went from 80% to 50% in just two seconds. Thereafter the phone kept losing its charge and it dropped down to 3% also very quickly. Complaints have also been registered on the company’s Apple Support Community website. So, obviously, Apple must be fully aware of the nature of the problem being raised. Interestingly, someone quickly conducted a poll on Twitter and received responses where a majority of respondents confirmed they have faced the problem.

Customers might have noticed this particular issue since the instructions for installing the update mentions that the device must be fully charged before the iOS 10.3.2 is installed. Perhaps this would have made the customers conscious of a sudden drop in the charge levels just after the installation is complete.

However, one must hasten to mention here that the update 10.3.2 itself has been quite a welcome one since it appears to have fixed many bugs in the OS and also it has brought in some improvements in the security area as well.

Experts are now suggesting that if you have not received the update alert, you can decline the installation for some time till the company resolves the issue.
