Heavy to very heavy rain is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore of Coastal Andhra Pradesh for next five day, a MeT office bulletin said here today.

The South West monsoon has been active over coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalseema. The low pressure area over Chattisgarh and neighbourhood has been marked, it said.

"Heavy rainfall warning for next four days for above nine districts of coastal Andhra Pradesh," the bulletin added.

As per Indian Metrological Department(IMD) Hyderabad, South West monsoon has been active over Telangana state. As a result, heavy to very heavy rain at a few places with isolated extremely heavy rain is most likely to occur in Adilabad, Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad, Ranga Reddy and Warangal over the next 48 hrs in Telangana.
