Acclaimed filmmaker Lijo Jose Pellissery took to Facebook to announce his next project. Having films such as Amen and Angamaly Diaries to his credit, the director is now coming up with the film that has an interesting title Ee Ma You (Eesho Mariyan Ouseppu). While the title itself is different, the star cast is impressive with the director roping talented actors such as Chemban Vinod Jose, Vinayakan and Dileesh Pothan to play important roles.
Cranking the camera for Ee Ma You is Shyju Khalid, a well known cinematographer - director in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut as cinematographer with the film Traffic in 2011 and had cranked the camera for films such as 22 Female Kottayam, Idukki Gold, Maheshinte Prathikaaram, and 5 Sundarikal, which was also his maiden directorial venture. This is in fact the first time that Lijo Jose Pellissery and Shyju Khalid are teaming up, which has raised the expectation levels. And that is not all because the Kerala State Film Award winner Vinayakan and Dileesh Pothen are working with the director for the first time as well. PF Mathews will be penning the script for this flick.
Music composer Prashanth Pillai, who is a regular in all of Lijo Jose’s films so far, will be composing the tunes for the film while the project is bankrolled by Rajesh George Kulangara. The shooting of this film has begun already and is progressing at a breakneck speed. Reports are that Ee Ma You will hit the marquee in December this year.
Well, with the announcement regarding his upcoming film made formally, fans are waiting eagerly for more news about it as it has an impressive team working on the project.
