As its Prime Day sale approaches, Amazon has announced that 18 to 24-year-old customers can get 50% (Rs 500) cashback on joining annual Prime membership of Rs 999. Customers can avail this offer by signing up for Prime and verifying their age on Amazon.in.
This comes days ahead of Amazon’s Prime Day sale on July 15 and 16, where Prime members can avail thousands of deals at the lowest prices across smartphones, laptops, fashion, beauty, everyday essentials and more.
To avail the ‘Youth Offer’ on Prime memberships, users have to sign up for the Prime annual membership from the ‘youth offer’ banner by paying Rs 999 with any electronic payment method (credit card, debit card, net banking or Amazon pay balance). Customers must verify their age by uploading their PAN card, a proof of mailing address and a photo. Once verified, Rs 500 will be credited within 10 days to the customer’s Amazon Pay balance account.
Customers can use the Amazon Pay cashback on all their favourite purchases, bill payments and recharges on Amazon or at Amazon’s offline and online partner merchants including BookMyShow, Swiggy, Domino’s, Redbus and more where Amazon Pay is accepted.

With a 50 percent cashback on Amazon Prime membership, customers can enjoy the best of shopping and entertainment through Prime, while at the same time saving INR 500 to spend on all their favourite activities like shopping, food delivery, entertainment, travel and more ,” said Akshay Sahi, Director and Head of Amazon Prime, India said in a statement.
Prime membership offers users benefits such as free one-day, two-day delivery, unlimited access to movies and TV episodes with Prime Video, unlimited access to Prime Music and unlimited access to bestselling eBooks through Prime Reading early access to select Lightning Deals and more.
In addition, Amazon also offers 2-hour delivery on Amazon devices, consumer electronics and everyday essentials on the Prime Now app for Prime users in Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai.
