Duvvada Jagannadham starring Allu Arjun in the lead role is undoubtedly the most anticipated film in Tollywood this year.

While two songs from the album scored by Devi Sri Prasad went on to become big hits, the trailer released recently has been well received too.

The trailer has clocked 10 million views online within 24 hours of its release, which proves the expectation levels for this Allu Arjun starrer.

In this film, Allu Arjun plays the role of a Brahmin chef and he reportedly gave up eating non-vegetarian food while shooting, as he felt he should be doing complete justice to the role.

The actor reportedly did a lot of homework to get into the skin of the character. Interestingly, he will be seen in two different avatars in the movie and the other one is touted to be a stylish look.

Another highlight of the film would be the punch dialogues delivered by Allu Arjun and it has been specifically penned by director Harish Shankar, we hear.

Directed by Harish Shankar, Duvvada Jagannadham has Pooja Hegde playing Allu Arjun’s lead pair. Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for this action comedy entertainer with Ayananka Bose cranking the camera and Chota K Prasad editing it.

The film is bankrolled by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.  Harish Shankar has penned the story and Ramesh Reddy and Sathish Vegnesha have worked together on the screenplay.

The film was initially planned as a summer release but some delays from the production side forced the filmmakers to opt for a June 23 release.

Interestingly, Mahesh Babu’s SPYder was supposed to hit the silver screens on June 23 but was postponed to September after the team had to re-shoot the climax portions. With this, a major box office clash has been averted.
