The Allu Arjun starrer Duvvada Jagannadham completed the censorship process and has been given a UA certificate.

With the censors done, the film’s release on June 23 is now confirmed. The shooting of this flick began last year with plans to have it released at the theatres on May 19.

Having completed Duvvada Jagannadham and waiting for its release, the star has moved over to his next titled Naa Peru Surya.

The new film’s muhurat happened recently in Hyderabad amidst a lot of fanfare. Popular writer Vakkantham Vamsi, who had penned films such as Oosaravelli, Kick, Yevadu and Race Gurram, will be making his debut as director with Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India.

The film also has two veteran actors – Arjun Sarja and Sarath Kumar – in the star cast. The team is scouting for a heroine and has not finalised on it yet.

The music duo from Bollywood Vishal-Shekhar will be composing the tunes for this flick with Rajeev Ravi cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it.

The film is presented by K. Nagendra Babu with Sirisha and Sridhar Lagadapati and Bunny Vasu producing it under the banner Ramalakshmi Cine Creations.

This film is slated for release later this year but the date has not been finalised yet, say sources.
