Bollywood star Akshay Kumar is playing the main antagonist in the Rajinikanth starrer 2.0 and he has undergone a major physical transformation to get into the skin of the character. His fans are waiting eagerly to see him in action in this magnum opus considering all the homework he has done. And the latest buzz is that some voice enhancements have been done so that he sounds different. This is essential to suit the looks he will be sporting in the film, say sources in the know.

Akshay Kumar will be dubbing in his own voice for the Hindi version of the film but he will sound completely different and for its Tamil and Telugu versions, a professional dubbing artiste would be engaged.

Made on a budget of around Rs. 450 crores, 2.0 stars Superstar Rajinikanth in the lead role. Being the sequel to the 2010 hit Endhiran, Rajini will be seen playing the roles of Chitti and Dr Vaseegaran. A Subhashkaran’s Lyca Productions is producing this high budget film and it is getting ready for a worldwide release on January 25.

Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman is composing the soundtracks for this film with cinematographer Nirav Shah cranking the camera. Amy Jackson has been roped in to play the female lead and this is the first time she will be seen sharing the screen space with the Superstar.

It may be mentioned that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the heroine in Endhiran. Actors Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn and Riyaz Khan are included to the star cast to play supporting roles in 2.0.

The shooting of this Rajinikanth starrer was wrapped up a couple of months ago and the team is busy with the post-production work which is loaded with visual effects.
