Thala Ajith and director Siva are set to reunite for the fourth time and the project has been titled Viswasam. It is slated to go on the floors early next year. While many believed that after the debacle that Vivegam turned out to be, Ajith and Siva might take a break and work on a different combination. However, they’ve reunited once again to prove all those wrong who mocked the failure of Vivegam.

Apparently, Ajith insisted that Siva work with him again on a rural-based script and it’ll feature the actor in a brand new avatar. It is believed that Ajith will dye his hair black and sport a new look for the film. His new look has already leaked online, as per reports.

While the cast and crew are yet to be decided for Viswasam, it has been learnt that composer Yuvan Shankar Raja has been brought on board. Last seen working with Ajith in Aarrambam, this reunion with Yuvan has sent fans into frenzy. The makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding Yuvan’s inclusion in the project but sources close to the makers Sathya Jyothi Films have confirmed the reports.

After working with Anirudh Ravichander in Vedalam and Vivegam, this is the first time Siva will join hands with Yuvan Shankar Raja, who has also worked with Ajith in hit films such as Dheena and Billa. The new project will be made on a much lesser budget than Vivegam, which was a whopping Rs. 120 crore action spectacle. The project is gearing up for Diwali 2018 release and it is believed to clash with Vijay-Murugadoss film and Suriya’s next film with director Selvaraghavan at the box-office. If the three projects make it for Diwali, it’ll be the biggest clash the industry would have ever witnessed.

There were also rumours that Ajith might team up with Vikram Vedha director duo Pushkar-Gayatri next. However, director Pushkar clarified that they’re still scripting their next project and were pleasantly surprised to hear about rumours about their collaboration with Ajith.

Though they denied the reports, he also said that nobody would miss an opportunity to work with Ajith. It has to be seen if Siva and Ajith can bounce back strongly from the failure of Vivegam, in which the latter played an Interpol agent and he was paired with Kajal Aggarwal. The film was entirely shot across exotic locations in Europe and it also marked the debut of Vivek Oberoi and Akshara Haasan in Tamil filmdom. While Vivek played the antagonist, Akshara played a hacker. Despite earning over Rs. 100 crore in no time, the film bombed at the box-office.
