Nearly three months after the project was officially announced, fans of Ajith have a reason to cheer. The shoot of the highly anticipated Viswasam is finally set to begin from March 23 in Hyderabad, according to sources from the film’s unit.

Apparently, the shoot will begin in a specially erected set in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City. The project, to be bankrolled by Satyajothi Films, will be directed by Siva, who is known for helming Veeram, Vedalam and Vivegam. Nayanthara, last seen in Sivakarthikeyan’s Velaikkaran, has been finalised as the leading lady.

The project marks the fourth consecutive collaboration between actor Ajith and Director Siva. While many believed that after the debacle of Vivegam, Ajith and Siva might take a break and work on a different combination. However, they’ve reunited to bounce back strongly.

Apparently, Ajith insisted that Siva works with him again on a rural-based script and it’ll feature Ajith in a brand new avatar. It is believed that Ajith will dye his hair black and sport a new look for the film and that his new look has been already leaked online.

D Imman, who will be joining hands for the first time with Ajith, has been finalised to compose music. The rest of the cast and crew is yet unknown. However, it is rumoured that Shraddha Srinath might have bagged an important role.

Viswasam will be made on a much lesser budget than Vivegam, which was a whopping Rs 120 crore action spectacle. The project is gearing up for Diwali 2018 release and it is believed to clash with Vijay-Murugadoss film and Suriya’s next film with director Selvaraghavan at the box-office. If the three projects make it for Diwali, it’ll be the biggest clash the industry would have witnessed in a long time.
