Actor Nayanthara is having a great 2018 so far. The title and the first-look poster of her 63rd film were released on Tuesday. Titled Airaa, this Tamil-Telugu bilingual will be the first time where she’ll be seen playing dual roles.

Directed by Sarjun KM and produced by Kotapadi J Rajesh, Airaa will most probably hit the screens this Christmas. The poster hints that Nayanthara’s makeover for her second character in this film might make the star almost unrecognisable. Two completely different profiles of the actor are seen in this poster.

The film’s cast and crew include names like Sudarsan Srinivasan, Sundaramurthy KS, Priyanka Ravindran, Karthik Jogesh, Siva Sankar and more. More details on this project are awaited.

Director Sarjun, who rose to fame with his short films Maa and Lakshmi, made his feature film debut with Echcharikkai Idhu Manidhargal Nadamaadum Idam starring Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Sathyaraj and Kishore.

Nayanthara was last seen in Imaikaa Nodigal where she played a CBI officer. The film also starred Anurag Kashyap and Atharvaa in lead roles.

In recent years, Nayanthara has been very careful about selecting her roles. Some of the recent films where she played the lead include Kolamaavu Kokilaa, Aramm, Dora, to name a few.

Referred to as Lady Superstar, Nayanthara also has a bunch of other films up her sleeve. She is starring alongside Ajith in director Siva’s Viswasam. She also has Chakri Toleti's Kolayudhir Kaalam that has been in the making for a long time now, Telugu biopic Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which is a multi-starrer, Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan and an unnamed film with director M Rajesh of Siva Manasula Sakthi fame.

Nayanthara also has Love Action Drama, directed by Dhayan Sreenivasan, alongside Nivin Pauly.
