New Year's Eve is almost upon us and for everyone looking to welcome 2017 with a happy buzz and a drink in hand, comedy group AIB has some advice for you:
Don't drink and drive.
Yes, we know you've heard it a million times, but AIB delivers the message without trying too hard.
The video opens to a New Year's Eve party where everyone is having fun until one guy (played by Ashish Shakya) says he is going to another friend's party and picks up his car keys.
And just like that, Tanmay Bhat, Abhish Mathew and Rahul Subramanian launch into an explanation proving Ashish is drunk (and in denial), and then break into song and dance synchronised to the tune of "Badtameez dil".
The hilarious song is about all the reasons Abhish should live to see 2017, and not put his, or anyone else's life in danger by driving when he is inebriated.

With the refrain "Peeke mat chala, maarega, maarega!" (don't drink and drive, you'll hit/kill someone), the song is bound to get stuck in your head.
The video is in collaboration with Ola cabs, who also went on an apparently 'drunk' tweet spree on Sunday tagging Flipkart, Zomato, Netflix India, TVF and even Baba Sehgal in the tweets.

"About those last tweets, drunk tweeting is dangerous, imagine what drunk driving can do," Olacabs tweeted later, promoting the #PeekeMatChala message.
