After Simbu announced his decision of withdrawing his membership from Nadigar Sangam, Simbu's father T Rajendar has given a press release according to which " Vishal, Nasser and Karthi came to me offering their support in Beep song issue and I told them that we will face it in the court legally since my son has not done anything wrong. Simbu did not do anything, it was not released by him. The same we are trying to establish in the eyes of law.

Vishal, without knowing anything came and asked Simbu to apologise. I request Vishal not to do the same to other actors in the future when they face a similar problem. Why should someone apologize for a mistake that he has not committed. The association should either support its members or stay away.”

After Simbu's announcement, many senior actors called me and requested me to advice Simbu to reconsider his decision, his father said.

"I would like to register, that Simbu should reconsider his decision of quitting. I also appreciate the fact that as an individual he may have his own principles and sense of self-respect,” his father added.

Nadigar Sangam President Nasser has said he will reach out to Simbu, and Nadigar Sangam will not let anyone leave.
