Director Doss Ramasamy should be a relieved man now! The director has been facing the heat with allegations that the film is a rip off of Alibabavum Arputha Carum.

Confirming that it is an original script, the South Indian Film Writers Association has come to the director’s rescue.

With this, the Nayanthara starrer is getting ready for a release on March 31.

It may be mentioned here that the filmmakers were in a quandary over its release after the allegations made by the Chennai-based writer Sridhar. To clear the air, the filmmakers sought the help of the SIWA and have gotten a clean chit.

The horror thriller stars Nayanthara as the main lead with Thambi Ramaiah, Harish Uthaman and Tharun Kshatriya in the supporting roles.

Noted producer A Sarkunam has produced Dora under his banner Sarkunam Cinemas along with Hitesh Jhabak.

Scoring music for this flick is the music director duo Vivek Siva and Mervin Solomon. Dinesh Krishnan had cranked the camera and Gopi Krishna has edited the film.

Nayanthara, known to be choosy about her roles, had picked up this script after being impressed with the role she was offered.

The project went on the floors with the title Tik Tik Tik, which was the title of the yester-year hit Kamal Haasan starrer, but was later changed to Dora.
