Yes, you read that right. The Galway Girl hitmaker is FINALLY coming to India!

According to information updated on the British singer’s website, Ed Sheeran is going to perform on November 19 in Mumbai, as a part of his Divide Tour. This addition is a part of nine other Asian cities that have been added to the tour including Bangkok, Seoul and Osaka.

Having tweeted earlier that he would be visiting India promoting his latest album Divide, Sheeran had asked, “How’s the weather in June?” The tweet led to speculation that he was going to perform in the same month.

But the latest details confirm that it will be in November and we could not be more excited!

2017 has been a good year for India in terms of International music artists performing in the country.

Ed Sheeran had visited India for the first time in 2015. Not only did he perform to a full house at Mahalaxmi Race Course in Mumbai, he also reportedly partied with Bollywood celebrities like Hrithik Roshan, Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan among others.

Ed Sheeran enjoys a huge fan following in India which is clear from the desi renditions and adaptations of his music, especially Shape of You.

There’s a biriyani anthem styled on it, a here’s a mesmerising Carnatic version of the same.

And there's a kathak choregraphy on it too!
