Following the critical success of “Joker”, director Raju Murugan has been approached by several leading actors, who have all expressed their interest in working with him.
Among the many actors floored by “Joker” is Suriya, and if the grapevine is anything to go by, Suriya will be working with Raju after his next film with Vignesh Shivan. It will probably be bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures, which had also produced “Joker”.
It is rumoured that Suriya will start working on Vignesh’s project from November and will start work on Raju’s film in March or April next year.
According to sources, Vignesh’s film is tipped to be a thriller inspired by true events, and the makers are busy finalising the rest of the primary cast. However, reports of Nayanthara and Surbhi being locked in as the other leads in the film have been dismissed as baseless rumours.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that Suriya will finally make his Telugu debut next year with director Trivikram. The project was supposed to materialise much earlier, but was postponed by over a year because of Suriya’s prior commitments.
