Actor Jayasurya heaped praises on Neeraj Madhav and Aju Varghese for their dancing skills. The star took to Facebook to post this appreciation about the two actors soon after the song from Lavakusa, which begins with the lyrics Enthu Kashatanu Boss, was released.

Appreciating both Neeraj and Aju Varghese for their dance performance in the song, Jayasurya pointed out that the former could well be termed as the Vijay of the Malayalam film industry.

Lavakusa is directed by Gireesh Mano and scripted by Neeraj.

Speaking to the Indian Express about the film, the director had said earlier, “Lavakusa is a spy comedy, a rarely attempted genre in Malayalam. It shares similarities with vintage spy movies that celebrated the Prem Nazir-Adoor Bhasi combo, like Lankadahanam and CID Naseer. The bromance of Lava and Kusha can also remind you of Dasan and Vijayan. However, the plot is not in any way similar to these movies.”

On getting to direct the film, Gireesh had said that it was Aju who connected him to Neeraj after he came to know of the script.

He had said, “I was on the hunt for a good script after my debut Nee Ko Na Cha. Then, Aju told me Neeraj had a good story. Neeraj narrated it to me and I loved it. Then, he started writing the script. But then, we knew one of the main characters had to be Biju Menon. Nobody, but he can play it with ease. We were ready to wait for Biju to get free. The highlight of Lavakusha is itself the threesome combo of Biju, Neeraj and Aju.”

The film will have Gopi Sunder cranking the camera with Gopi Prakash Velayudhan cranking the camera. Lavakusa is bankrolled by Jaison Elamkulam.
