Called Gulistaan Golf View Heights and as “dream homes for elite Muslim brotherhood,” the apartments, according to The Times of India are priced between Rs. 2500 an Rs. 2700 per square foot and are being built on a 3.5 acres in Sports City in Greater Noida which is in the outskirts of New Delhi. While some say it is a solution for Muslims who find it difficult to rent or own houses, other voices say this could lead to the up-stream ghettos of communities.However, it is not just in Delhi that builders have catered to specific communities. Shankara Agraharam or Vedic Village is a township near Bangalore only for Brahmins.
