Would you kill baby Hitler if you could travel back in time? Tricky question?
This is exactly what The New York Times Magazine recently asked its readers and on Friday posted the response it received on Twitter, along with asking social media users to reply to the question.
We asked @nytmag readers: If you could go back and kill Hitler as a baby, would you do it? (What's your response?) pic.twitter.com/daatm12NZC

It did not take long for #BabyHitler to start trending worldwide on the micro-blogging site.
Not everyone on Twitter agreed with the question, and the response ranges from critical to amusing to even downright hilarious.
Here is what some had to say.
@NYTmag I am interested, but do you have any non-baby-killing packages?

I wouldn't kill Baby Hitler, I'd just get him a like minded art teacher. #BabyHitler pic.twitter.com/mIZyE6nX0y

Black people are exempt from the baby hitler conversation. As a rule we don’t time travel past 1987.

WOULD you kill baby Hitler and COULD you kill baby Hitler are two separate questions. https://t.co/6pu23iAIkp
