With an official invite being sent out by the company, it can now be confirmed that two new smartphones, the Vivo X9s and the Vivo X9s Plus will be unveiled by Vivo on July 6 at Vivo’s home country, China, Beijing, to be precise.

But there is very little information that has been shared by Vivo by way of specifications and other details of these two phones. Whatever details are being discussed here are based on the leaks and information from other sources.

The Vivo X9s Plus is expected to have a 5.85-inch OLED full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920x1080p and the phone will be powered by an octa-core processor that clocks 1.95GHz. The phone is likely to have a RAM of 4GB and 64GB internal storage. A microSD card can be inserted to enhance this storage by another 128GB.

The Vivo X9s Plus will be running on the Android Nougat Version 7.1.1 and will sport a 3920mAh battery. The phone will be furnished with all the connectivity options including 4G VoLTE.

The rear camera will be 16MP and as mentioned, the front camera setup is a repeat of the predecessor phones from Vivo with 20MP and 8MP (or is it 5MP) cameras forming a dual sensor outfit.

There is very little information on the other phone, Vivo X9s, which is also being released on July 6. As indicated, even the above details of the Vivo X9s Plus have not officially confirmed by the manufacturer directly or indirectly.

Since the launch is just a week away, one might as well wait to know complete details. It is also not certain if these models will be brought to India and if so when.

The Chinese smartphone maker also unveiled a fingerprint sensor under the display of a smartphone on Wednesday jointly with Qualcomm at the Mobile World Congress in Shanghai.
