All hell broke loose on Sunday when Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone gave it back to The Times of India (TOI) in full public domain for disrespecting her.
The media publication had earlier posted a video of the actor, focusing on her cleavage. Deepika did not take it lightly and took to Twitter to post a series of tweets expressing her anger.
One of the tweets read: 'YES!I am a Woman.I have breasts AND a cleavage! You got a problem!!??'

Deepika has over 7 million followers on Twitter and in almost no time her tweetS spread like wildfire. As I-stand-with-Deepika was trending social media, TOI was bearing the brunt at the receiving end.
TOI later put out another tweet justifying their video in question. They wrote: 'It's a compliment. You look so great that we want to make sure everyone knew.' Their attempt to calm down the public out-lash backfired as many thought it was crass to call it a 'compliment'; and this ensued another round of criticisms for TOI.
Praises and support poured in from almost all quarters for Deepika, including colleagues from the industry. Admiring her gutsy response, some tweeted:
Appalled....shocked and disgusted at the level of disrespect shown..Deepika or any women in the world cannot and should not stand for this!!
