Telangana is all set to witness another festival season with the Antya Pushkaralu at ghats along the Godavari river in various parts of Karimnagar district from July 31 to August 11.

The Antya Pushkaralu signifies the last 12 days of the Godavari Pushkaralu, which were held in the state from July 14 to 25 last year along the same ghats.

The Hindu reported:

The pushkaralu would be held at Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy Devasthanam in Dharmapuri, Sri Kaleshwara Muktheeshwara Swamy Devasthanam in Kaleshwaram, Koti Lingala, Manthani and other villages along the shores of river Godavari. Chief Whip Koppula Eshwar has also reviewed the arrangements for the Antya Pushkaralu.

The state is expecting around one lakh pilgrims per day over the period of 12 days, and has already told authorities to gear up and make necessary arrangements.
