A collector in Telangana has decided to give a "special gift" to her officials for their hard work -- tickets to Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

According to reports, Warangal Urban District Collector Amrapali Kata blocked 500 tickets for officials and artists who worked for the recent beautification of the the district.

Initially, reports stated that the tickets for an entire show were bought in Asian Sridevi Mall in Hanamkonda.

A lot of speculation followed, as to why the Collector had bought an entire show of the film.

Later on, reports stated that the tickets had been given to employees, contract workers with the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) and artists who helped clean up and beautify the city.

The Collector was not available to the media for a comment.

However, taking to Twitter, she said, "And where did I get money to buy 500 Bahubali 2 tickets!! :) blocking tickets for employees different from buying theaters!!!"(sic).

She added that Warangal too was curious about "Why Kattappa killed Baahubali".

Earlier this month, several buildings and walls in the cities of Warangal, Hanamkonda and Kazipet got a makeover, as part of a massive beautification programme.

Meanwhile, Baahubali 2 is gearing up for a massive worldwide release on April 28.

In fact, to fuel their fan's eagerness, the Baahubali team itself has posted a "leave letter" form online that people can fill and submit to their bosses.

The reasons range from-- "I've patiently waited for 658 days, and can't wait any longer", to "I want to know why Katappa killed Baahubali".

Other reasons include, "I want to see Queen Devasena", "I want to witness Prabhas defeating Bhalladeva", and "I don't want spoilers".

The letter can be found here.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, the two-part series has been shot over five years and has broken several records. The first film was recently re-released and the second film is gearing up for a mammoth opening across the country.

Made on a budget of over Rs 200 crore, Baahubali stars Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Tammannah, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Nasser, and Ramya Krishnan among others. MM Keeravani has composed the music for the film.

According to reports, the film will be released in around 9,000 screens worldwide.

It will be released in 6,500 screens in India alone and another 1,100 screens in the US. The film will release in 1,400 screens in other parts of the world.
