Ace director Sukumar’s maiden production venture Kumari 21F went on to do good business at the box office and he is now all set to have his second film released.
Titled Darsakudu, the film will have his nephew Ashok making his debut as an actor. Eesha will be seen as his love-interest in the film.
Director Hari Prasad Jakka, who is helming the affairs has said that Darsakudu is a complete romantic entertainer that revolves around a film director and his love story.
According to reports, the team is done with the shooting and had recently canned a couple of songs. The film is into the post production mode with the makers planning a grand audio launch soon.
It is believed that a leading star in Tollywood could be the chief guest for the event. With Darsakudu getting ready for release on June 9, the team is racing against time to finish off the post production work.
Sukumar had written and produced his earlier venture, but this time around, he has decided not to get involved in the creative side of the filmmaking. His role is limited to that of a producer, thereby giving complete freedom to the director.
While the movie is gearing up for release, Sukumar is busy with his own directorial, a magnum opus starring Ram Charan in the lead role, the untitled film is fast progressing with the shooting happening at a breakneck speed.
The interesting part of this film is that Ram Charan will be seen in a completely new avatar as he is playing a rural guy.
Touted to be an action thriller, the film also has Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Anupama Parameswaran, Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapati Babu and Rambha in the star cast.
