Chief Minister Siddaramaiah however, became the target of celebratory comments and insults even as others posted messages of condolence.
Many comments brought up IAS officer DK Ravi and DySP Ganapathy’s suicides. Others said Rakesh was paying for “sins” and “misdeeds” of his father Siddaramaiah and also those of the Congress. Many were plain nasty:
