The trailer for the Rana Daggubati-Kajal Aggarwal starrer Nene Raju Nene Mantri is out. After Rana scorched the screens playing Bhallaladeva in the mammoth hit Baahubali: The Conclusion, expectations from this film have soared. Of course, this time around, Rana is playing the hero and not the villain.
Touted to be a political thriller, the trailer suggests that Rana's character will seek revenge for a wrong done to him by a political leader- possibly something happens to his love interest Kajal Aggarwal? We also see a shot of Catherine Tresa stylishly smoking a cigarette.
The highlight of the trailer for Rana's many women fans is undoubtedly his swashbuckling dhoti avatar which he carries off with aplomb. Rana has his share of punch dialogues and there also appear to be quite a few romance sequences between him and Kajal. Directed by Teja, the film is expected to release this year.
