Rakul Preet Singh’s career graph has been going up steadily with the actor bagging some of the most enviable projects.
Though she made her debut with Keratam in 2011, it was Venkatadri Express in 2013 that brought her to the limelight.
Within a short span of time, Rakul had paired up with almost all top stars in Tollywood such as Ram Charan Teja, Allu Arjun, and Jr NTR and is looking forward to be cast opposite other leading heroes as well.
But in a major setback, Rakul is shocked to learn that she has been replaced by Taapsee in Mr. Perfect, which has Prabhas in the lead.
Not knowing the reason for this ouster, the actor said that she had shot a few sequences with Prabhas but did not know why she was replaced.
Mr. Perfect, touted to be a family drama, is directed by Dasarath.
Meanwhile, the actor is busy playing Mahesh Babu’s lead pair in his untitled film.
This bilingual, made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu, is being directed by AR Murugadoss.
The film is due for release on June 23.
Rakul has also inked a deal to star in director Boyapati Srinu’s film which has Bellamkonda Sreenivas in the lead role.
