The Superstar Rajinikanth paid a surprise visit to Anirudh’s studios recently which has raised speculation that they may collaborate for a project in the near future.
Incidentally, Anirudh is Rajinikanth’s nephew and shares a good rapport with him.
Having made his debut as a music composer with 3, which was directed by Aishwarya Dhanush Rajinikanth and starred Dhanush in the lead, Anirudh rose to instant stardom with his debut album. The single ‘Why this Kolaveri di’ was a huge hit and since then there has been no looking back for the young musician.
Anirudh is currently busy composing tunes for Ajith’s Vivegam, Siva Karthikeyan’s Velaikaran and Suriya’s Thaana Serntha Kootam. He has composed music for almost all the leading stars in the Tamil film industry such as Ajith, Vijay, Suriya and his fans are waiting eagerly for him to collaborate with his Superstar uncle.
This may probably happen with the Pa Ranjith directorial which is touted to go on the floors after Rajini is done with 2.O. The magnum opus is being directed by Shankar with Amy Jackson playing Rajini’s lead pair.
