The new Nubia N1 lite is also one of the phones displayed by ZTE at the Mobile World Congress in February and is now the Indian buyers can lay their hands on this phone from May 22.

The phone has been released in Gold and Black colors but it will be confirmed only on 22nd when the company makes a formal launch as to the colors they have designated for India. Here are the phone’s specs:

The Nubia N1 lite sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display and the screen resolution and pixel density are 720x1280pixels and 267ppi respectively. The capacitive touch screen offers 16M colors. The information on the type of protection provided to the screen is yet to be confirmed.

A Cortex-A53, quad-core CPU clocking 1.5GHz speed and a Mali-T720MP2 complete the engine under the hood for this smartphone. These hardware specifications would indicate that ZTE has positioned the Nubia N1 lite somewhere in the lower-end of the mid-segment phones.

The OS is Android M and the phone possesses 2GB RAM and 16GB memory. There is of course the option to use the microSD card on one of SIM slots sacrificing the dual SIM option. The storage in that case can go up to 128GB.

ZTE has fitted an 8MP camera in the front with a dual LED flash and the front selfie camera of 5MP also has a LED flash to support the imaging features on the Nubia N1 lite. The front camera has also been fitted with a wide-angle lens to facilitate taking selfies comfortably. The user can record videos at 1080p@30frames per second. The phone comes with the usual connectivity options and sensors including a fingerprint sensor in the rear.

The battery on this phone is non-removable and is a decent 3000mAh sized Li-Ion battery.

The other details like the price and if the phone would be made available through the traditional stores besides the online sources will all be known only at the time of the formal release of the phone.
