Faahadh Faasil, Syam Pushkaran and Dileesh Pothen hogged the limelight recently when Syam Pushkaran bagged the National Award for Best Script Writer for the movie Maheshinte Prathikaram. The film was directed by Dileesh Pothen and had Faahadh Faasil playing the lead role. According to latest reports, Faahadh Faasil and Syam Pushkaran will be teaming up again for a new film that will be directed by debutant Madhu. Interestingly, he had worked with the Syam and Faahadh in quite a few films earlier.

On the new film, Times of India reports Syam saying, “We are in the starting stages of the project and we don't have everything in place yet. However, the film will go on floors this year itself. It will be a family drama.” Speaking about his current project for which he is co-scripting with Dileesh Nair, Syam said that it is a romantic film that will have Tovino Thomas playing the lead role. There are talks of Syam working with Mohanlal after the grand success of Salt n Pepper and when asked about it, he had said that it is too early to talk about the project. The writer, however, said that Shafi will be directing the film and more details would emerge when things are in place.

Meanwhile, Faahadh’s Role Models is currently in the post production mode and the film is supposed to release soon. Meanwhile, the actor is busy with Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, directed by Dileep Pothen. Written by Sajeev Pazhavoor, the film stars Fahadh Faasil, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Soubin Shahir and Alencier Ley Lopez in lead roles.

Apart from the Malayalam films Naale, Aannengilum Alenkilum, Thamarassery to Thailand, and Carbon, Faahadh Faasil has two Tamil films, Aneedhi Kathaigal and Velaikkaran in his kitty right now.
