From Chiranjeevi to Khushbu, south stars from the ‘Class of 80s’ jazz it up in Chennai

It was time for the Class of 80s reunion again. Stars from the film industries of the south, who had ruled the screens in the 80s came together for their annual bash, this time at a resort in Mahabalipuram near Chennai this weekend.

Twenty eight celebrities came together for the 8th edition of the ‘Class of 80s reunion’, hosted by Suhasini and Lizzy. Pictures of the stars dressed up for the purple theme this year have been tweeted by several of them who attended the gala.

This year’s reunion saw Suhasini, Kushboo, Lizzy, Ambika, Sumalatha, Shobana, Ramya Krishnan, Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, Radhika, Sarathkumar, Jayasudha, Ambika, Parvathy, Jayaram, Revathy, Poonam Dhillon, Nadiya Moythu, Poornima, Bhagyaraj, Rahman, Radha and Jackie Shroff amongst others.

The reunion that was started in 2009 has seen several actors hosting the various editions. Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mohanal, Ambareesh, Lizzy, Khusbhu and Suhasini have hosted previous editions.
