Bengaluru-based standup comedian Sanjay Manaktala's latest video is a spoof on the Beer yoga trend.

"The thing is biryani is really spiritual, it’s all about taking in the aroma and letting it out, letting it soak into your body. But also about the discipline of not jumping immediately into the biryani," one of the actors in the video points out.

Check out how these yogis do a downward facing dog, while balancing a plate of biryani. And how they earn their meal of biryani after a plank.

The video has gone viral on Facebook with nearly 15K shares and 1.9 million views.

But what is Beer Yoga you ask?

According to the bieryoga website, "BeerYoga is the marriage of two great loves – beer and yoga. Both are centuries-old therapies for body, mind and soul. The joy of drinking beer and the mindfulness of yoga complement each other, and make for an energizing experience."

If you thought Beer Yoga was weird, there's also Goat Yoga.

Lainey Morse from Oregon gives goat yoga classes and there's a 1,200-person waiting list for her sessions.

While the name could sound strange, it doesn't mean that people practice yoga with goats. The sessions take place in a farm where goats roam freely, with the animals sometimes even climbing on top of people.

"Goats are perfect for the yoga practice because it's not only combining nature and animals, it's combining yoga, and they all go together so well," Lainey told CNN.
