Jr NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa had him essay three different roles, Jai, Lava and Kusa and according to the star, Jai was the most challenging role that he had ever done.
In an interview, the actor said that playing a gangster who stutters isn’t so easy and it gave him some sleepless nights.
However, thanks to the reality show Bigg Boss that he is hosting on television, Jr NTR says that it helped him get back to normal sooner than usual.
He has reportedly said in an interview that the Big Boss show was a big stress buster for him as it helped him get back to his own self, every weekend.
Jr NTR added that he would look forward to being on the show during the weekends and felt completely relaxed.
He has been quoted by the Indian Express as saying, “Unlike other characters, Jai really took a lot of time to get out of me because he was very intense. Eventually, an actor should get out of a character and move on.”
On how the show helped him, he said, “In Bigg Boss Telugu, I had to be myself not Jai. So, every weekend when I went to the television show, it helped me to get back to my real self. Otherwise, some characters are very demanding physically and mentally.”
Jai Lava Kusa has been directed by KS Ravindra aka Bobby and has Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Thomas playing the female leads.
The film, which was released on September 21 across the globe, has been produced by Jr NTR’s brother N Kalyan Ram under his home banner NTR Arts.
Devi Sri Prasad has composed the tunes for this action entertainer with Chota K Naidu cranking the camera and Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao editing it.
