After the massive success of Baahubali in which he plays the deadly villain Bhallala Deva, Rana Daggubati is getting ready to storm the box office again. This time, it will be for his home production Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Directed by Teja, known for directing socially and politically relevant films, NRNM is produced by Rana’s dad and popular producer D Suresh Babu. According to the producer, the film is a political thriller that will have Rana play the role of a politician named Jogendra. Revealing about the progress of Nene Raju Nene Mantri, the producer said that the shooting is in the final stages with the post-production work going on simultaneously.

Starring Rana in the lead role, the film has Kajal Aggarwal and Catherine Tresa playing the heroines. Others in the star cast include Navdeep, Ashutosh Rana, Posani JP, Raghu Karamanchu, Bittri Satthi and Prabhas Seenu. The technical crew of Nene Raju Nene Mantri includes Anup Rubens as the music composer, Venkat C Dilip as the cinematographer, Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao in charge of the editing and Narayana Reddy as the art director.

The film is being produced jointly by D Suresh Babu’s Suresh Productions and CH Bharath Chowdhury and V Kiran Reddy under the banner Blue Planet Entertainment. According to the filmmakers, NRNM will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi. Sources close to the film say that the decision to release the film in other languages stemmed from the fact that Rana has become highly popular among the Indian film audiences after his role as Bhallala Deva in Baahubali.

Apart from Nene Raju and Nene Mantri, Rana has two Tamil films in his kitty – Madai Thiranthu and Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta.
