Gautham Vasudev Menon’s much awaited Dhruva Natchathiram, which was recently revived with Vikram, has been making waves for its series of posters which have been released daily since last week.
As the team gears up to commence shooting, it has been learnt that Anu Emmanuel, last seen in Nani-starrer Telugu film Majnu, has been roped in as Vikram’s pair. Even while an official announcement is awaited from the makers, we have exclusively learnt that the film will also feature a second heroine. Interestingly, both these heroines won’t be playing regular love interests to Vikram.
“Anu is one of the heroines. Though she will be paired with Vikram, they won’t be seen as a regular Kollywood pair. The makers are on the lookout for a second heroine and it’s most likely to be a newcomer,” a source said.
Currently shooting for Vishal’s Thupparivaalan, Anu also has two Telugu projects – Kittu Unnadu Jagartha and a yet-untitled Pawan Kalyan starrer - in her kitty. She’s expected to join the sets of Dhruva Natchathiram from next month.
In Dhruva Natchathiram, Vikram plays a spy and the story will be set against US backdrop. AR Rahman is most likely to compose the music.
