All eyes are on the highly anticipated Vivegam, due for release next week. The film marks the third collaboration of Ajith and Siva, who had already delivered two blockbusters, Veeram and Vedalam. It is believed that the collaboration will continue for the fourth time as the duo are set to team up again, according to sources close to Siva.
It is rumoured that the director is planning a historical project with Ajith next and it will be on a very high budget. However, it’s not sure whether they will join hands right away post the release of Vivegam or will take time.
The success of Vivegam will decide the fate of their future collaboration. The film is riding on high expectations and it needs to mint over Rs 120 crore worldwide to even enter the profit zone. Thanks to the success of Veeram and Vedalam, Vivegam is sure to open big across all centres but it has to be seen if it can sustain at the box-office. The film features Ajith in the role of an international agent and he will be on a globe-trotting mission.
The film has been predominantly shot across exotic locations in Europe, especially in places such as Serbia, Austria, Georgia and Slovenia among others. Going by the promos, Ajith looks his stylish best in the film and has also set an example by sporting six-pack abs despite a long history of medical condition. Produced by Sathya Jyothi Films, Vivegam has music by Anirudh Ravichander and it marks the Tamil debut of actor Vivek Oberoi. The film also stars Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan in crucial roles.
